Meet Jazzy Jeff Bright: The Visionary Behind Sunny 107.9 WFBS
Jeff Bright, affectionately known as Jazzy Jeff, is a lifelong Oconee County resident with over 30 years of broadcasting expertise. Starting his career at AM-1150 WSNW and 98.1 WBFM, Jeff has excelled as an on-air talent, Chief Engineer, Marketing Director, and General Manager, specializing in Classic Hits and Carolina Beach Music.
In 2015, Jeff launched Sunny 107.9 WFBS in Salem, SC, and now proudly owns, operates, and programs the station. His dedication extends beyond radio, contributing to his community's recovery from the 2020 EF-3 tornado and maintaining a strong local presence.
Jeff lives in Seneca with his wife, Laurie Ellenburg Bright, and their son. When he's not on the air, Jeff works for Net Doctors and serves as an FAA-licensed Drone Pilot.
